Dodgers outfielder Bernadina chooses free agency

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Dodgers outfielder Roger Bernadina has elected to become a free agent.

He split this season between Cincinnati and Los Angeles, where he played in nine games and batted .286 with the Dodgers. He hit .153 in 44 games with the Reds.

He was removed from the Dodgers’ roster on Tuesday.
