Grain mixed, livestock lower

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mixed Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Dec delivery was 5 cents lower at $5.0425 a bushel; Dec corn was 1 cent higher at $3.58 a bushel; Dec oats were unchanged at $3.4525 a bushel; while Nov soybeans gained 4.25 cents at $9.69 a bushel.

Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Dec live cattle was .95 cents lower at $1.6297 pound; Nov feeder cattle was 3.00 cents lower at 2.3415 a pound; Dec lean hogs lost 2.67 cents to $.9225 a pound.
