Seahawks activate Terrell, waive Scruggs

RENTON, Wash. (AP) — The Seattle Seahawks activated safety Steven Terrell from the practice squad and waived defensive end Greg Scruggs on Saturday, a day before their home game against Dallas.

Terrell also has spent time on practice squads with Jacksonville and Houston.

Scruggs missed all of last season because of a knee injury after playing 11 games as a rookie in 2012. He was inactive for the first four games this season.
