Food carts open at Portland airport

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Visitors to Portland, Oregon, don’t have even to leave the airport to sample the city’s famous food carts.

Portland International Airport spokeswoman Annie Linstrom says the Koi Fusion and Pok Pok food carts opened Friday, and three more operators will arrive later this year.

The carts are at the north end of the airport’s Oregon Market. The prices are the same as at their off-airport locations.

Linstrom says carts will rotate every six months, giving other local operators a chance to feed hungry travelers.
