BYU cornerback Jordan Johnson injured, carted off

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — BYU cornerback Jordan Johnson was carted off with an arm injury Thursday night against Central Florida.

Johnson was sitting upright and had his right arm immobilized in a bandage as he was driven off the field in the middle of the first quarter. The senior was attempting a tackle near the 5 on UCF quarterback Justin Holman. Holman broke away from the tackle for a touchdown and the game’s first score.

Johnson has appeared in four games this season, making nine tackles.
