Frontier plane hits owl during takeoff in Denver

DENVER (AP) — Officials say a Frontier Airlines flight from Denver to Minneapolis aborted its takeoff after hitting an owl.

Flight 110 was headed down the runway but hadn’t taken off yet on Thursday when it hit a barn owl at Denver International Airport.

Airport spokesman Heath Montgomery said no one was injured and the plane returned to a gate.
