The island nation is experiencing heavy rainfall, and a depression in the Bay of Bengal is forecast to worsen weather conditions on land and at sea starting Wednesday. The Fisheries Ministry already says about 150 Sri Lankan fishermen drifted into Myanmar seas because of bad weather and report that cyclonic conditions are preventing them from returning home.
