Ohio band’s animated performance goes viral (Video)

WASHINGTON — The Ohio State University band took viewers on a journey down the yellow brick road during its halftime show over the weekend.

The school’s band performed a medley of songs from the “Wizard of Oz” complete with impressive “animation” during the Sept. 27 game against the University of Cincinnati.

The show included formations resembling a tornado destroying houses, Dorothy walking with Toto, a dancing scarecrow and a wicked witch flying across the field.

As of Tuesday morning, the performance has been viewed more than 560,000 times since its posting Sept. 27.
