Grain mostly lower, beef and pork higher

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mostly lower Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Dec delivery rose .25 cent to $4.7425 a bushel; Dec corn was 3 cents lower at 3.23 a bushel; Dec oats fell 2.50 cents to $3.2875 a bushel; while Nov soybeans declined 12.50 cents to $9.1025 a bushel.

Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Dec live cattle rose 3 cents to $1.6210 a pound; Oct feeder cattle was 3 cents higher at $2.3310 a pound; while Dec lean hogs rose .87 cent to $.9447 a pound.
