NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Filip Forsberg scored in the first period and Pekka Rinne and Marek Mazanec made it stand up in the Nashville Predators’ 1-0 exhibition victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday night.

Forsberg took a pass from Mike Ribeiro, made a move down the right side and tucked the puck inside the left post and past Kristers Gudlevskis at 3:17. Forsberg has two goals in two preseason games.

Seeing his first action of the preseason, Rinne made 12 saves in the first 32:15 of the game. He missed 51 games last season because of a bacterial infection in his left hip.

Mazanec stopped the final 10 shots for Nashville (1-1-0).

Kristers Gudlevskis made 31 saves for Tampa Bay (1-1-0).
