Woman dies in single-vehicle crash near Hagerstown

HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) — Maryland State Police are investigating a crash that killed a Hagerstown woman in Washington County.

Police say 48-year-old Sherry Lee Ramsburg was thrown from her pickup truck and killed after it overturned early Saturday in a crash on Jefferson Boulevard outside of Hagerstown.

Investigators say Ramsburg was heading east when her truck crossed over the westbound lanes and off the roadway. The truck struck a bridge wall and utility pole guide wire, causing it to overturn. No other vehicles were involved.
