1 killed, 3 hurt in Norfolk shooting

NORFOLK, Va. (AP) — Police in Norfolk are investigating a shooting that left one man dead and three others injured.

The Virginian-Pilot (http://bit.ly/1tUtXCj) reports officers responded to reports of gunshots early Sunday in a residential area near a high school.

Police say in a news release that 24-year-old Jordan Smith was pronounced dead at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. Three others suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Police have not identified a suspect.
