Pedestrian killed by hit-and-run driver in D.C.

WASHINGTON — A pedestrian was killed early Sunday morning in the District by a hit-and-run driver. The incident happened around 3 a.m., according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

D.C. Police say a pedestrian was struck by a dark-colored, four-door Chrysler sedan near Georgia Avenue and Girard Street in Northwest.

The driver did not stop confirm police.
