Charleston Southern powers past Campbell, 34-10

CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — Christian Reyes, Danny Croghan III, Mike Holloway ran for touchdowns in the second half to rally Charleston Southern to a 34-10 victory over Campbell on Thursday night.

Austin Brown was 8 for 15 for 154 yards passing with two touchdowns, and also ran for 85 yards for Charleston Southern (3-0).

Brown’s 17-yard pass to Nathan Prater early in the first quarter put the Buccaneers up 7-0.

Dakota Wolf’s 5-yard touchdown pass to Jabri Ridenhour tied the score early in the second quarter, and Mitchell Brown’s 44-yard field goal put Campbell (0-3) ahead 10-7 with a little more than six minutes remaining in the first half.

Reyes’ 1-yard scoring run put Charleston Southern back ahead for good, 13-10, in the third quarter, and Croghan had a 2-yard TD run midway through the period. The Buccaneers added two scores late — on Brown’s 28-yard pass to Jared Scotland and Holloway’s 26-yard run.
