WASHINGTON — D.C. police are asking for the public’s help to identify dirt bike and all-terrain vehicle riders seen in surveillance footage released Wednesday.

Around 7:20 p.m. on Sunday, June 25, police say these suspects were seen illegally operating ATVs and dirt bikes in a number of local locations.

The video shows several scenes from various surveillance cameras. At the beginning of the video, a large group of people riding dirt bikes and ATVs are seen pulling into a Shell gas station: Some fill up their rides while others run inside. The next scene shows the inside of the gas station where, presumably, some of the riders buy items.

The following scene shows the ATV and dirt bike riders rolling onto a busy street, a few going in the wrong direction, another few cutting across the street and others popping wheelies ahead of traffic. The last scene shows many dirt bike and ATV riders swarming another street.
