Top 10 places where FEMA seeks to take back aid

Two years after Superstorm Sandy, the Federal Emergency Management Agency has identified about 4,500 disaster aid recipients it suspects got more money than program rules allowed. About 850 households have been asked to give money back so far. The communities with the most households under review as of July 30:

Queens, New York: 720

Brooklyn, New York: 466

Staten Island, New York: 343

Long Beach, New York: 244

Seaside Heights, New Jersey: 154

Toms River, New Jersey: 108

Atlantic City, New Jersey: 102

Freeport, New York: 100

Oceanside, New York: 97

Massapequa, New York: 95
