WASHINGTON – A murder victim’s husband and her former boyfriend are both under arrest and have been charged with killing her in Culpeper.

Police charged Roger Davis, 44, of Catlett with murdering his wife, 31-year-old Patricia Adams. Police say Adams was killed in October in her Willis Lane home.

Police have also arrested her boyfriend, Gary Willie, 50, for the same crime.

Police say Davis and Willie drove to the victim’s home in the same car and forced their way in. There was a fight and police say Willie shot and killed Adams.

Willie then tried to kill Davis and himself. They both survived the shooting.

Willie was already in jail for another charge when he was arrested. Davis, who was partially paralyzed by the shooting, was arrested at a relatives home where he was staying.
