Few surprises among Patriots-Dolphins inactives

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (AP) — Defensive tackle Bruce Gaston is inactive for Miami’s opener Sunday against New England.

Gaston was claimed by the Dolphins after being released by the Patriots.

Miami center Mike Pouncey, defensive end Terrence Fede and linebackers Jordan Tripp and Phillip Wheeler are ruled out because of injuries. The Dolphins also list offensive linemen Jason Fox and Billy Turner as inactive.

Guard Josh Kline is inactive for New England, despite being originally listed as a starter.

The Patriots also list defensive end Michael Buchanan, linebacker Darius Fleming, center Bryan Stork, defensive tackle Chris Jones, running back James White and wide receiver Aaron Dobson as inactive.
