Charges dropped against former Redskin Davis

WASHINGTON — WTOP has learned a former Washington Redskins player is no longer in trouble with the law.

Fred Davis was charged with assault in connection with a domestic dispute with his ex-girlfriend at a restaurant in Adams Morgan back in June.

Davis was due back in court tomorrow, but today the case was dismissed and he no longer faces any charges.
