Cardinals DT Dockett hurts knee, carted off field

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Arizona Cardinals starting defensive tackle Darnell Dockett was taken off the field on a cart after injuring his right knee at training camp on Monday. He was getting an MRI.

Dockett hurt his knee during an 11-on-11 drill. He limped off, then was placed on a cart and taken away. Frostee Rucker moved into Dockett’s spot.

Dockett is in his 11th NFL season, all with the Cardinals. He and Larry Fitzgerald have the longest tenure of any Arizona players.

Dockett is a three-time Pro Bowl player. Since 2004, his 158 starts are more than any other player in the NFL at his position.
