Brennan Haselton, wtop.com

WASHINGTON – Remember when beer was just beer? Nowadays they throw everything but the kitchen sink in and some of it’s very good.

But what if you could infuse beer yourself, at home?

The folks at Dogfish Craft Brewery in Delaware say you can with their new Randall Jr home beer infuser. A tongue-in-cheek “informercial” explains how it works, but basically you fill the Randall Jr’s basket with whatever you want — fruit, jelly beans, clam shells, anything — add beer, pop in the ‘fridge and presto, you’ve got your own home infused concoction.

We’ve purchased a Randall Jr, and will get to back to you on its performance.
