3-year-old boy assaulted at D.C. daycare

WASHINGTON – A man has been arrested in a sexual assault at a daycare center in Northeast D.C.

Randolph King, 21, was arrested Thursday in Prince George’s County and is currently being held in the District as a suspect in the case, sources tell WTOP.

The 3-year-old’s mother says the incident happened more than a week ago in the basement of the Zion Baptist Church on Kenilworth Avenue in Northeast. The daycare center is now closed.

ABC 7 reports it took three days for the daycare center to report the incident to police.

D.C. Police could not confirm an arrest.
