UPDATE: The Amber Alert for Tommy Lee Able Engle was called off just before 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6.

He was found in Pikesville, Kentucky and is safe, His father, Tommy Lee Travis Engle, 34, was arrested.

EARLIER: WASHINGTON — The Virginia State Police have issued an Amber Alert for a three-year- old boy.

Tommy Lee Able Engle is described as white and about 35 pounds, with blue eyes and short blonde hair.

He was last seen Monday evening along Oak Hill Lane in Critz, in Patrick County. Police think he’s with his father, also named Tommy.

They think the two are in a navy blue Dodge Neon, with Virginia plate number WNZ- 9169.

If you see them, the state police say you shouldn’t approach them, but call the state police at 800-822-4453.
