Train collides with truck in Baltimore County

BALTIMORE (AP) — Baltimore County authorities are investigating a collision between a train and truck near Rosedale.

Authorities said Tuesday morning’s collision did not result in any injuries or derailment of the train.

Officials said the train was traveling southbound carrying a load of beverages when it hit the truck, which is designed to carry industrial trash bins but was not carrying any at the time.

The incident occurred at the same location where a collision between a train carrying hazardous chemicals and a garbage truck last year resulted in an explosion and a partial derailment.
