Spirited Co. man tries out Broncos cheeleading squad (VIDEO)

WASHINGTON – A Colorado man’s dreams of becoming an NFL cheerleader were dashed last weekend after he was cut from the first round of tryouts.

Sacha Heppell tells a Seattle news station he competed against 200 women last weekend to become the Denver Broncos’ first male cheerleader.

According to King 5 news, the tryouts are open to everyone, but unfortunately for Heppell, he made a few mistakes in the first round and didn’t make the cut.

There haS never been a male cheerleader for the Denver Broncos. But males have made the cheerleading cut for the another NFL team — the Baltimore Ravens. Currently, the Ravens are the only team in the league wITH a co-ed cheerleading squad.
