Blind girl, 5, reunited with stolen therapy dog (VIDEO)

WASHINGTON – A legally blind girl who suffers with cerebral palsy is smiling big following a reunion with her service dog, who had been stolen from her Kansas home two weeks ago.

The Huffington Post reports Andrea Taylor, who suffers from cerebral palsy and is blind, received Millie in early March and instantly bonded with the dog.

The little girl was sleeping through the night without crying, her mother, Lana Taylor, tells KSN News Kansas.

The dog was stolen from outside their home three weeks after she arrived. The family was devastated and offered a $450 reward.

Miraculously, the dog showed up on the front porch around 3:30 a.m. Thursday. As soon as she came into the house, she ran upstairs to wake up Andrea, the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Examiner reports.

No one knows who returned the dog, but the family believes Millie may have been used in dog fights.
