Missing Silver Spring woman found safe

A missing Silver Spring woman was located late Saturday night.

Margie Lee Brown was found safe and unharmed in Washington, D.C., police say.

WASHINGTON – Montgomery County police are searching for a 69-year-old who suffers from dementia. She has been missing for two days.

Margie Lee Brown was last known to be at her home in the 8600 block of Springvale Road in Silver Spring April 12.

She is described as a black female, approximately 5 feet tall and weighing 150 bounds. She has brown eyes and wears either a black or brown wig.

Brown was last seen wearing a light blue turtleneck, jean and gray sneakers. officials believe she might have left the area on foot.
