Bills down another TE after Chandler hurts groin

PITTSFORD, N.Y. (AP) — The Buffalo Bills are down another tight end after starter Scott Chandler left practice with a groin injury.

Coach Doug Marrone didn’t have an immediate update on the severity of the injury or how much time Chandler might miss. Chandler was hurt early during the training camp session on Sunday, and did not return after being escorted to the locker room.

The Bills are already down tight end Tony Moeaki, who is out indefinitely after hurting his hamstring on Friday. Tight end Chris Gragg is expected back next week after spending two days in the hospital being treated for heat-related cramps.

Receiver Kevin Elliott did not return after complaining of concussion-like symptoms. He was hurt after being hit by safety Jonathan Meeks on a play at the goal line.
