Weather looks good for Women’s March Saturday

WASHINGTON — If you are out and about on Saturday, possibly for the Women’s March on Washington, the weather does not look too shabby.

After some early Saturday morning fog, we are expecting dry weather for Saturday, with temperatures in the mid- to upper 40s for much of Saturday morning.

By the time the clock strikes noon, temperatures will be around the 50-degree mark. While I believe we will have mostly cloudy skies (with some sunshine here and there), we will be dry. Winds will be on the light side, so a light jacket should be all that is needed. Might want to grab sunglasses just in case!

Ten years ago, D.C. bore the brunt of what came to be called Snowmageddon — one of the most severe winter storms in capital weather history. Between 1 and 3 feet of snow fell from Feb. 5 to Feb. 6, 2010: Flights at Reagan ground to a halt under 17.8 inches of snow — tame compared with Dulles, which saw over 32 inches.
