DEL MAR, Calif. (AP) — Bench Light won Del Mar’s $94,882 feature race Thursday, beating Money Clip by 6 1/4 lengths on the infield Jimmy Durante grass course.

Ridden by Hall of Fame jockey Kent Desormeaux, the 5-year-old Bench Light ran 1 3/8 miles in 2:11.34 and paid $18, $7.60 and $5.60 for his seventh victory in 23 starts.

Money Clip returned $10.60 and $5.60, and Christopher Street paid $4.60 to show.
