Grain mixed, beef higher and pork lower

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mixed Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Sept delivery was 2 cents lower at $5.2875 a bushel; Sept corn was 1 cent lower at 3.6150 a bushel; Dec oats were 1.75 cents higher at $3.26 a bushel; while Nov soybeans were 8.25 cents higher at $10.8475 a bushel.

Beef was higher and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle rose .50 cent to $1.5655 a pound; August feeder cattle was .07 cent higher at $2.1732 a pound; while August lean hogs lost 1.37 cents to $1.2320 a pound.
