Most Metro lines to have regular weekend service

WASHINGTON (AP) — Most Metro lines will have regular weekend service as the silver line opens.

Metro says the orange, blue, yellow and green lines will run at regular weekend intervals on Saturday and Sunday. The silver line opens Saturday at noon and will also be running at regular weekend intervals.

The only line affected by weekend work is the red line. Metro says that trains between Shady Grove and Glenmont will run every 20 minutes. On Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. trains will run every 10 minutes between Grosvenor and NoMa- Gallaudet.
