3 indicted in Richmond store worker’s death

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — A grand jury has indicted three people in the fatal shooting of a Richmond jewelry store worker during a robbery.

The Richmond Times-Dispatch (http://bit.ly/1pgeA0X) reports 26-year-old Anthony J. Lenard, 28-year-old Jermeaka M. Gorham and 24-year-old Paul L. Townes Jr. were indicted on first-degree murder, robbery and weapons charges.

Officers found 29-year-old Muhammad H. Baig dead inside Victoria Jewelers on May 5.

Richmond prosecutor Traci Miller says a fourth suspect who faces a conspiracy charge is expected to be returned from a North Carolina jail by the end of the month, when prosecutors will then seek additional charges.
