WASHINGTON — Fans of Kellie Pickler will hear her on the new VeggieTales movie, “Beauty and the Beet,” coming out on DVD in October.

She voices Mirabelle, the sweet-potato lead singer of a family band.

The movie comes out Oct. 14.
