3 restaurants on same Md. road robbed within 30 minutes

WASHINGTON — Three Prince George’s County restaurants on the same road, within a mile and a half of each other, were robbed at gunpoint within a half-hour Tuesday night.

ABC7 reports that the three restaurants are all on Annapolis Road in the Landover Hills area of Prince George’s County, but the Prince George’s County police aren’t saying for sure that they’re all connected.

The first robbery happened at about 8:50 p.m. at a McDonald’s at Annapolis Road and Veterans Parkway; the second, at the Tacos 5 de Mayo a half-mile southwest on Annapolis Road, and the third at a Pizzaboli’s a mile farther down Annapolis Road.

Police say no one was hurt.
