Teen hurt after falling off train in Harford Co.

JOPPA, Md. (AP) — Police say an 18-year-old was hurt after falling off a train in Harford County.

The Harford County Sheriff’s Office says it received a call a little after 6 p.m. Sunday for an accident along the CSX tracks near Clayton Road in Joppa.

The sheriff’s office believes the teen was illegally riding on the train when he fell off.

The Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company says the teen was transported to Johns Hopkins Bayview Trauma Center in serious but stable condition.

The sheriff’s office warned people that it is illegal and dangerous to play or walk along train tracks.
