Man shot in Prince George’s home invasion

WASHINGTON — A man was shot during a home invasion robbery in Upper Marlboro on Tuesday night.

Prince George’s County Police say two men entered a house on Keverton Drive, off Central Avenue, and demanded property from a woman inside.

One of the men struck her with a handgun before they came into contact with a man inside the home.

They struggled, and the man was shot by one of the suspects, who then fled. The man in the home was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive.

The suspects are described as black men wearing ski masks: one about 5 feet, 8 inches and heavy-set; another with a light complexion, about 6 feet, 2 inches tall, and wearing a gray shirt.

Call the Prince George’s County police at 301-352-1200 if you’ve seen them.
