WASHINGTON — A D.C. firefighter was accused of selling crack cocaine last week after police pulled him over and found drugs, guns and more than $1,000 in cash in his car.

ABC7 reports that Norris Jackson was arrested last Wednesday after he was pulled over in Northeast D.C., near the Marvin Gaye Recreation Center.

According to ABC7, the police and court documents say that Jackson was pulled over for not wearing a seat belt after police recieved a tip that he was selling crack from a Northeast barbershop.

When he was stopped, Jackson reportedly seemed very nervous, told the police he was a D.C. firefighter and claimed that they could not search his car.

A police dog detected drugs in the driver’s door of Jackson’s car, and the police eventually found what they say is cocaine, as well as a gun, ammunition and more than $1,000.

Jackson worked out of Engine 23, in Foggy Bottom, ABC7 reports.
