O’Malley to visit cybersecurity company

BALTIMORE (AP) — Gov. Martin O’Malley is scheduled to visit a Baltimore-based cybersecurity company to highlight efforts to increase jobs in Maryland.

O’Malley is planning to visit Red Owl Analytics on Tuesday.

The tech start-up develops software that helps companies use emails and phone records to find activity by employees that could be harmful to the business.

The company won a $100,000 grant last year as part of the Invest Maryland Challenge, a business competition that awards grants to help start-up companies in the state.
