Jimmy Fallon, The Roots, Metallica rock ‘Enter Sandman’ on toy instruments (Video)

WASHINGTON — “Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon is the master of taking performers and politicians out of their comfort zone to make a little noise. And more importantly, the stars, who can often get jaded by the talk-show circuit, seem to get the most fun out of it.

This was no less evident in Wednesday night’s show, when Fallon, employing a kazoo, cajoled heavy metal legends Metallica to play their trademark hit ‘Enter Sandman’ with Fallon’s house band, The Roots, on various kids’ toys, including the classic xylophone and drum.

As the cool kids say: Rockin’!
