Storm postpones game between Red Sox and Orioles

BOSTON (AP) — The Fourth of July game between the Boston Red Sox and Baltimore Orioles was postponed because of the impending storm.

The game will be made up on Saturday as part of a day-night doubleheader.

The Red Sox made the announcement more than three hours before the first pitch.

Hurricane Arthur was expected to sweep through the area on Friday afternoon and deliver heavy rain and flash flooding. The forecast for Saturday was clear.
