Arizona resident Jerry Emmett is 102 years old – she was born before women in the United States gained the right to vote. This week, she cast her ballot early, voting for Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

To mark the occasion, Emmett donned a crisp white suit and blue shirt. Photos of Emmett in her getup set off a cascade of responses on Twitter – we’re sharing some of the highlights in the gallery above.

Tammy Duckworth, a U.S. Army veteran who lost both of her legs while serving in Iraq, rebuked Tucker Carlson after the conservative Fox News host attacked her on Monday night and suggested that she hates America. "Does @TuckerCarlson want to walk a mile in my legs and then tell me whether or not I love America?" Duckworth wrote on Twitter.
