Police: Missing Greenbelt boy found

UPDATE  (12:49 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29) -- Police say the boy has been found safe and unharmed. ---

WASHINGTON — Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 9-year-old boy who was discovered missing early Saturday.

Alhaji Jalloh was last seen Friday, Oct. 28 at his home in the 5800 block of Cherrywood Lane around 8 p.m., according to a Greenbelt Police Department news release. He was reported missing around 1:30 a.m. Saturday.

Jalloh is a black male, 5-foot-2 and 90 pounds, the release said. He was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt over an orange and white T-shirt, black pants and blue Adidas sneakers.

Anyone with information about the boy’s location is asked to call 301-474-7200.
