WASHINGTON — A man has been arrested in the stabbing of two people at a house in Germantown, Maryland.
The Montgomery County police say Da’Von Mobley, 26, of Germantown, was at a party at a house in the 13300 block of Kilmarnock Way around 7 p.m. Sunday when he was asked to leave. He returned about 15 minutes later and stabbed a man and a woman before taking off.
While the police were investigating at the house, a neighbor told them her car was missing. Officers found the car on Kilmarnock Way; they say Mobley was driving. They told him to stop, but he drove off.
Mobley drove off the road on Cricket Hill Drive, the police said, then ran off. He was captured on Charity Court.
He’s been charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder, home invasion, first-degree burglary, reckless endangerment and theft of a motor vehicle. He’s being held without bond.
The man who was stabbed had life-threatening injuries, the police said; the woman, serious injuries.
