Grain mixed, livestock mostly lower

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mixed Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Sept delivery rose 9 cents to $5.9375 a bushel; Sept corn was 3.25 cents higher at 4.4225 a bushel; Dec oats were 3.25 cents lower at $3.2875 a bushel; while Nov soybeans declined 16.25 cents to $14.28 a bushel.

Beef lower and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle fell 1.63 cents to $1.5112 a pound; August feeder cattle was .80 cent lower at $2.1432 a pound; while August lean hogs rose 1.02 cents to $1.2982 a pound.
