Wilford Brimley puts Wyoming ranch on market

NEW YORK (AP) — Actor Wilford Brimley is selling his Wyoming ranch, with an asking price of $1.25 million.

The 79-year-old star of “Cocoon” tells The Wall Street Journal (http://on.wsj.com/UOa7tw) he is getting on in years and it’s time for him to do something else.

Brimley has owned the 276-acre ranch near Greybull, Wyoming, for about seven years.

Hall and Hall agent Randy Shelton says it includes a three-bedroom house and a two-bedroom log cabin.

Brimley never lived on the property, but used the cabin as a guesthouse.

Brimley is a native of Utah and worked as a ranch hand and blacksmith before becoming an actor.
