Suns draft Serbian guard Bognanovic at No. 27

PHOENIX (AP) — The Phoenix Suns chose Serbian shooting guard Bogdan Bognanovic with the 27th pick in Thursday’s NBA draft, their third and final first-round pick.

Bognanovic averaged 14.8 points in the Euroleague and 15 points in the Adriatic League last season.

Considered a good shooter and excellent ball handler, Bognanovic might not play for the Suns in the coming season, staying in Europe instead.

Earlier, Phoenix chose small forward T.J. Warren of North Carolina State at No. 14 and point guard Tyler Ennis of Syracuse at No. 18.
