New bus to Nationals Park takes the pain out of parking

WASHINGTON – It’s a bus ride with benefits: A new, hassle-free option for getting to Nationals Park.

Instead of driving, which involves the even more difficult task of parking, a new bus service called Ballpark Bus offers an easier way to get to the game.

The service currently has five local stops where it picks passengers up at area restaurants and drops them at the stadium. It hopes to eventually get 15 to 20 restaurants to participate and offer their grounds as pick-up and drop-off locations.

Anyone who books a ride during the first three days reservations are open can try out the new ride for $15. After that, the service costs $18.
