2 charged in Miley Cyrus burglary, auto theft case

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Los Angeles County prosecutors say an Arizona man and woman have pleaded not guilty to charges of stealing a Maserati, jewelry, purses and clothes from the home of Miley Cyrus.

Officials said Tuesday that 19-year-old Tylor Scott and 21-year-old Naomi Charles entered pleas Monday to one count each of first-degree residential burglary, grand theft of personal property, grand theft auto and unlawful driving or taking of a vehicle. A firearm allegation is included in the charges

They are due back in court June 18.

Scott is also charged with one count each of first-degree residential burglary and grand theft firearm for an alleged May 15 burglary at a Woodland Hills home. The theft at Cyrus’s home took place two weeks later.

Bail for Scott is $150,000 and $100,000 for Charles.
