FOREST, Va. (AP) — Poplar Forest is offering dads free admission to President Thomas Jefferson’s retreat on Father’s Day.
Dads can spend Father’s Day taking a guided tour of Jefferson’s octagon house and self-guided walking tours of exhibits on the plantation’s grounds.
Admission for all others is $15 for adults and $13 for seniors and military members. Admission for college students and youth ages 12 to 18 is $7. Admission for children ages 6 to 11 is $3, while there is no charge for children under age 6.
